- Note: This is an original Remington model 11 D grade, 12 ga done on Browning's original auto five patent. As you may know, these are some of the prettiest guns that Remington put out during this period. This gun is fitted with a solid matte rib with beads. The action and barrel are hand scroll engraved and the gun is fitted with a AAA claro walnut stock and forend. The buttstock is fitted with an early Hawkins pad which, amazingly, is still full of life. The silver oval in the leading edge of the buttstock denotes a Rexburg, Idaho original owner. A high percentage of original blue remains in fact with the exception of a few wear at a few high points. We would rate the bluing at 95%. The stock and forend show a reasonable number of scuffs and light scratches to the original finish. This is a pretty sexy old remington and still has lots of life! I can only imagine that the original owner listed on the silver oval was an avid trap shooter in Idaho.
