Beretta S689E Gold Sable express rifle, .30-06. Made in 1988 this beautiful express rifle features 24” barrels with full engraved rib, higher quarter rib with standing rear sight, matching raised front sight and engraved Warne scope bases for quick release rings. Double, front to back triggers with non-automatic safety, Leupold Vari X-III 1.5-5X20 scope on engraved Warne style quick release rings. The Schnabel forearm is of gorgeous walnut as is the right-hand cheek piece buttstock. The stock has a 14 3/8” LOP from the front trigger over the factory 5/8” recoil pad. The condition of the gun is 98% with deductions for a forearm scratch from improperly using the front QR lever, a couple of light “scuffs” around the engraving plate in the bottom of the buttstock and the fact that recoil pad is “age hardening” and should be replaced. The metal is 99%+. The rifle is 41” overall length and weighs 9 lbs. 1 oz. with the scope mounted. Comes with what appears to be a factory leather take-down case.
