*VINTAGE* ~~BEN SHOSTLE ENGRAVED~~ (MASTER ENGRAVER) CUSTOM DAGGER FIXED BLADE POLISHED STAG HANDLE This vintage knife was handcrafted by respected former member of the Knifemakers Guild, American Custom Gun makers Guild and President and founding member of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America Ben Shostle. The dagger style knife is 8.25 inches OVERALL with 4 inch double edged (unsharpened) blade, signed in the engraving by the knife maker. The flat surfaces of the bolster feature a deep relief scroll engraving. Handle is polished stag. NO SHEATH. Included is a Ben Shostle Arms Engraver pamphlet, which contains pictures of Ben's engravings, (knives & guns) scrimshaw, by his daughter, and information about the artists. Ben was a personal friend, and this and the other Shostle knives I am listing have been in our personal collection for many, many years,never sold, carried or sharpened. You see them as we received them from the maker!! Unfortunately, after going blind, Ben Shostle died in 2006, making his knives even more collectible! This knife has Never been used or carried.
