Description:
This is a very fine contract musket with E. Gaylord and sub inspected that is well marked sling. Excellent inspectors markings and other markings as well. The .58 caliber bore is very fine with no pitting and may clean up even better. The only flaws is the lockplate screw washers were pulled out
by the idiot who cleaned the gun and you can see the results in the photos. A finish was added to the stock and this can be removed. There was no sanding of the stock as edges are very sharp. A very nice musket way above average. Shipping and insurance is free provided the musket isn't returned.
This musket also includes a.58 caliber bayonet and scabbard. Blade has been cleaned with US marking with a few spots of pitting. Scabbard is unmarked and very nice shape.
