It was also the 1996 Cooper catalog cover gun and the single shot and custom section pages. This rare rifle bears number 1 of 25 and as such is the first of 25 rifles that were manufactured as a special edition in the fall of 1995. This exquisite rifle shows true exhibition quality French walnut. The action is polished to a fine royal blue. It is the first gun to have the new 1996 checkering pattern that was developed by Bernadette Duckette & Mary Ann Hackenbury. It is equipped with the Cooper-Jewell two stage trigger, a 3 panel checkered bolt knob, and Custom checkered skeleton grip cap and butt plate. Remaining in new unfired condition the rifle includes a Cooper Arms factory letter verifying all of the pertinent information, A 1996 Cooper Arms catalogue with this rifle pictured on the cover, A Nightforce 3.5x15x56 scope, and the original shipping box.
