PRICED REDUCED!!! You are viewing one used Winchester Model 1894 rifle. It is configured with the desirable standard length 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, plain pistol grip, shotgun butt and hard rubber buttplate, 3 special order features all confirmed by factory records (see last picture). This rifle sports a period Marbles No. 5 front sight and Marbles rear sight. Barrel and mag exhibit 90% deep original blue. Receiver mostly silver with about 10-15% original blue mixed in. About 20% of the bright fire blue remains on the loading gate. Lever has silvered out with some traces of case colors showing here and there. Original stocks are sound - no splits, no cracks, never sanded or refinished, never cleaned, still tight all the way around where they meet the metal. Stocks do show typical dings and marks from 110+ years of use but no abuse. Lower tang and upper inletting of buttstock have matching assembly numbers (see picture). Original hard rubber buttplate and pistol grip cap with decorative screw are present. Action is crisp and tight, half-cock safety functions properly and the bore is in great shape (about an 8.5 of 10) with no pitting, sharp rifling, and no frosting. I have fired this rifle and it is accurate and fully-functioning. No wobble to mag tube - hanger is still tight. Screw heads are in great shape and do not show any damage or abuse. Only 1 of each 725 rifles had a pistol grip, only 1 of each 700 rifles had a non-standard butt, so this is not a common configuration and not easily found. Caliber 30 WCF aka 30-30, manufactured and shipped in 1904 so it will require an FFL or C&R license for shipping. No international sales. Shipping included in price to US addresses only.
