Description:
Here is a manufactuer dated 1889, Winchester Model 1873 in caliber 22 Short. The firearm serial number is 320974P. The barrel is the 26 inch octagon, that has turned dark black from handling and typical wear. The wood has done the same, with a dark wood finish from oil treatment during it's history. The bore on the firearm was rated poor, with slight riflings seen in the barrel,with wear marks, and pitting in the middle of the barrel. The action functions properly with no binding, or loose fit of the various receiver and trigger parts.
