First model serial #165, letter from Cody Museum shows shipping on 1879, weighs 8 lb 2 oz., excellent wood with just 2 small hairline cracks around action, nice mix of blue and brown metal finish with no pitting or rust, sling swivels, nice bore, everything works and gun fires, do not know a lot more, please ask questions, gun has been in my family for four generations.
