Description:
This appears to be a Model 700 Remington European Model in caliber .222 Remington. I say this because the gun was purchased at a Rod & Gun Club in Europe by a U.S. Military person. It looks like a current model CDL but It has a 24 inch barrel with factory iron sights and was made in 1990. Rifle is in excellent original condition and is equipped with a period Leupold 3-9x40 scope with a 4 Plex reticle. Barreled action has a matte factory finish and stock has the original Remington factory finish which is near perfect - only a few very minor handling marks. Chamber and bore are perfect. This is a very nice Model 700 Remington rifle in a great classic caliber (not chambered today by Remington) that is a bit unusual to find with the factory iron sights.
