Description:
This rifle is in good working condition with about 80% blue on the 24" barrel, and receiver, and faint case colors on the lever. The American hand checkered walnut stocks show a couple of very small dings,scrapes and has a compass inletted in the top ridge of the butt-stock so Bubba can find his way back home! This model has the top steel pin cocking indicator. Factory holes drilled and tapped for the tang sight, a Lyman peep . Bore is good, clean sharp rifling and a few patches of roughness, but overall good. Metal on the barrel has spotty , peppery surface nearer the breech from improper storage, and the top of the square bolt is the same, but it's on the surface. Chambered for the potent .300 Savage caliber this would make a good shooter. Made about 1951.To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
