#1532 Remington Model 1867 No.1 military rifled musket, 43Spanish caliber, dark bore with strong rifling and no areas of deep pitting but just surface freckling and light rust. The exterior has considerable wear, scattered light to medium pitting, wrench marks at the breech, no visible markings, and incorrect cleaning rod (which I think is possibly to a Sharps Borchardt musket). The wood is equally rough with significant wear, cracks to the forestock, and while this all paints a pretty grim picture, this still is a good wall hanger for a “Man Cave” ….or a great start for making a very inexpensive big-bore black powder shooter at a low price. $325
