Description:
Ithaca Model 87 Deerslayer with Rifled Slug Barrel, Rifle Front and Rear Sights and Factory Drilled for Scope Mounting. One of the last built by Ithaca Acquision in Kings Ferry, NY. Barrels were interchangeable on this model with model 37's but one should not shoot 3 inch Magnums through the 37's. The 37 frames were not designed to handle the heavier loads. Metal retains all of 95% Original Blue with handling wear on the lower sides of the receiver. Barrel and Magazine Blue 98% with the most wear from the pump action on the mag slide. Wood retains 98+ % Original Finish with minimal handling wear. These guns are extremely accurate. Brought this one down from NY State thinking I may do some pig hunting. FFL required.
