Colt Model 1860 Army c. 1860. 4-Screw variation built for shoulder stock. Serial No.8478, visible in four locations plus the wedge. High condition,martially inspected piece shows a generous amount of case colors and bluing. Sharp naval scene on the cylinder and inspector stamps, ADK stock cartouche signifies inspector A.D. King ( active between 1850-65). Hammer screw replaced, Crisp action, solid lock-up on all six and an exceptional bore. Includes factory letter for Colt Archives.
