Geissele has been a common name in the AR-15 arena for years. Well known for high quality AR-15 triggers, Geissele has now turned their manufacturing expertise to AR-15 handguards. The Super Modular Rail MK4 is fully free floating to provide the best accuracy from your AR-15 while Geissele focused on keeping this handguard lightweight. The included barrel nut supplies a solid platform and the handguard features set screws to ensure assembly stays in place and will not slip or rotate under rigorous use. The rail system includes sections of permanently machined picatinny rail mounted to the handguard at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. Geissele focused on keeping the MK4 lightweight by machining lightening cutouts in the rail allowing for maximum weight reduction without sacrificing strength. The flat sided design offers a sleek profile.
The MK4 Super Modular Rail uses a KeyMod accessory attachment system that eliminates the need for backer plates and allows the user to customize the Geissele rail to accommodate various shooting situations and needs. This makes the MK4 compatible with all KeyMod direct attach accessories.
