Description:
The NRA muskets were specially built to comply with the specifications of the NRA target shooting competitions. This one is in 30 Gov. 06 cal. 26" bbl. Finish is mostly an aging blue with some wear at the muzzle. Bore would be good to VG. Strong rifling. Receiver has spots of corrosion that has been cleaned. Mostly a silver/grey color with some blue/brown. Buttstock is in VG cond. Nice fitting. Usage marks but very solid. Forearm wood is very nice with usual mars and dings but good overall cond. NRA musket was set up with the 1901 Krag sight which is on this gun. A unique rare Winchester.
