Description:
Colt Army: Sharp barrel address: Address Col. Saml Colt New-York U.S. America. Cylinder scene somewhat light but completely visible.
8" bbl, SN: 109154, all matching, including wedge, produced in 1864. Mechanically perfect, all parts original except: Front sight is definitely taken down, and may be a replacement. Fwd screw in triggerguard possibly replaced. Grips appear to be original, but bottom edges are shaved down, hence no cartouch, also fwd edge corners are rounded or slightly chipped, no SN penned on inside of grips. Backstrap and bbl are quite smooth and have obviously been cleaned, and very possibly cylinder and main frame also. Light case on protected areas of lever and hammer. Bore is pretty sharp and clear, with pitting throughout. SN is light on bottom of butt, but readable. Flayderman 5B-093. I also have it's brother, 109155, but they were separated early in their life.
