The statistical data for Model 1892, serial number 276777 states this rifle is chambered in 38-40 has a 22-inch round barrel, checkered stock with pistol grip. The rifle was also ordered with ½ magazine and is a factory take down rifle. The rifle was shipped in January of 1905 or around 111 years ago!
Bore is very good and had great rifling. Tang, Wood stock and butplate all match with correct assembly numbers of 20337. The Tang is stamped 2x and wood appears to that or better I would say 3x...absolutely gorgeous...it appears to have had a new finish applied to it over time and there are knicks and dings as shown in the pics.
Finish on it is very nice and gun is used not abused. I would image it has an old reblue on it from back over time but it shows nice and case color shows correct where it should be etc.
Overall a very nice rare rifle to add to a collector >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>I am an individual and can ship direct to most FFL's if your ffl needs it to go to a dealer then you will have to pay the cost that my FFL charges to ship to This is on top of shipping guys..Again this is a great gun and I include alot of good pics.
