FOR SALE IS A NICE HONEST ANTIQUE MODEL 1894 SPECIAL ORDER RIFLE (SEMI DELUXE) IN 30 W.C.F. WITH TWO SPECIAL ORDER FEATURES. FIRST IS THE PISTOL GRIP BUTT STOCK WHICH IS IN GOOD SHAPE OTHER THAN A DROP ON THE TOE AND A BENT BUTT PLATE (SEE PHOTOS). THE GUTTA PERCHA WINCHESTER BUTTON ON THE GRIP IS IN PERFECT CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS AND CRACKS. THE OTHER SPECIAL ORDER FEATURE IS THE TAKEDOWN OPTION WHICH IS IN GOOD WORKING ORDER, THE OVERALL WOOD CONDITION IS GOOD WITH A NICE SMOOTH PATINA AND SOME MINOR DINGS PRESENT CONSISTANT WITH AGE AND USE. THE RECEIVER AND BARREL SHOW A EVEN MELLOW PLUM BROWN PATINA OVERALL WITH NO MAJOR PITTING OR OTHER ISSUES PRESENT. THE BORE SHOWS RIFLING IS PRESENT BUT DOES SHOW PITTING THROUGHOUT THE BORE. THE SERIAL NUMBER DENOTES A PRODUCTION DATE OF 1896. THE REAR SIGHT MIGHT BE A REPLACEMET.
