Description:
Marlin model 39A in 22 short,long,or long rifle with a case colored recevier.The 39A was only built with a case colored receiver for two years,1939 and 1940. After WWII all 39As had blued receivers.This gun was built in 1940.It retains 85% of the original case colors,98% of the original blue,and 95% of the original wood finish.The bore is excellent with no rust or pitting and sharp rifling.The action is tight and smooth.This is a fine example of a very hard to find Marlin.C&R eligible.
