Payment Types Accepted: Cash,US Postal Money Order or wire transfer Description: 12 mm Mariette Brevete pinfire revolver. Unlike the common pinfire revolvers this model has a "closed" frame which allows you to easily unscrew for loading/unloading and is certainly more safe to use. It has a 5 3/4" octagon barrel with a fixed mid range post sight. It also has a protection ring around the end of the cylinder to avoid unintentional hits on the pins of the cartridges. Is has the barrel that is easily removed by unscrewing a large nut on the bottom of the barrel lug. There is an ejector rod mounted on the right side with 6 unfluted cylinders. As done for engraved revolvers at the time, the metal is in the white. Most of this one has engraving and this was probably custom ordered this way. Handling marks on the barrel, but overall the finish and engraving are in excellent condition. Checkered walnut grips with the lanyard ring intact and the steel buttplate is also engraved. Works single and double action. A very rare custom built all original pinfire revolver. Very difficult to find and in excellent condition. $650- or best trade. Will ship for shipping/Insurance I have many other items for sale.
