Beautiful Smith-Corona WWll 1903a3 30-06 service rifle from Estate. All correct. Muzzle and throat measure a little less than 1.Bolt closes on a go- gauge ,does not close on a no-go gauge (Clymer gauges).That indicates correct headspace and is safe to shoot.Barrel marked SC-10-43.Barrel date and serial number are correct.This is very important for an all correct Smith-Corona.P under top of barrel.X stamped on top of bolt .Very correct.All blued and parkerized parts are WWll factory correct and are in excellent condition.The stock is original and is in high collector grade condition.Front sight blade has the letter A,with the G below on front sight post. All correct.The stock is just plain outstanding,very few handling marks.Correct cartouches,FHA inspector marks and crossed cannons on left side of stock.Correct large squares on butt plate.Has the correct stronger stock lug bolts correct for late 1903a3s compared to earlier pinned stocks.The bore is 4 groove and the lands and grooves are very visual,mint bore. The lower spring band is rounded at top ,correct for SC.The magazine box is correct for SC as are the cartouches forward of the front screw.There are no arsenal rebuild marks anywhere and absolutely no rust,pin pricks freckles anywhere.Absolutely no (R) Remington parts.Just a 99%+ high condition Smith -Corona.This is a rare find in this unaltered condition.Ships in a Plano hard case from my FFL to your FFL.Add 50.00 for shipping and insurance .USPS money orders,or bank checks only.Superb condition.,open to reasonable offers.SemperFi,John
