Description:
The Winchester Model 62A was made from 1932 to 1958, with over 409,000 manufactured. The little rifles were fitted with a 23 inch round or octagon barrel, straight grip stock, plastic butt-plate, and were chambered in .22 short or long rifle. This gun is as described and is fitted with a 23 inch round barrel and is chambered in .22 LR. It is in about 90-92% condition, with the barrel and magazine retaining 95% of their original blue finish, with thinning on the sharp edges and some handling dings. The receiver and lower and upper tang retain about 80% of their original blue with most thinning on the lower and upper tang due to handling. The forearm retains most of its original finish with anly a few very minor handling marks. The stock retains most of its original finish with asorted handling marks and a few minor dents.
