- Note: This Tower pistol represents one of the 1844 conversions from flintlock to percussion. Sideplate still shows the mounting holes for the powder pan and frizzen. Original hinged ramrod is still in place. Stock shows pertinent handling marks and worm holes. A crown over P shows clearly on the left stock flat. All brass furniture is solid again with the scratches, dings, and dents of sea service. A nice historical example!
