A real nice Transitions PRE-WAR gun circa 1940's Mod. 70 hunting rifle, used but not abused, a clean gun with excellent bore in 30-06 caliber and its an exceptionally accurate rifle with groups going sub MOA,, new recoil pad added but stock not cut..swivels modified to take QD sling units, low comb std wt...Dotes on 220 gr. Noslers and Sierras to one hole accuracy, all bullets tested shot MOA on average..D&Ted with 4 holes and have Redfield bases on order. stock is clean, no cracks or bad nicks, worn checkering, floor plate is worn smooth of blue, metal is smooth of blue, some blue wear on front of barrel, see photos. Buyer pays $50 shipping and price insurance. Your will like this one, its a dandy for a pre war..
