Description:
This is a 1964 Browning Safari in 458 Win Mag. The 1964 date of manufacture assures you that there is no potential issue with salt-cured wood. No alterations to the metal or stock have been made. The metal finish is excellent with no scratches, dents or rust. It looks like no scope has ever been mounted. The rifle appears to have been hunted with a number of scratches, scuffs and finish dents in the stock. I have done my best to depict these in the photos. As the seller I must declare that I am biased, but I must say that the photos make these stock issues look more prominent than when you are actually holding the rifle in your hands! Like so many of the rifles of this era, the front site hood is missing. Shipping and insurance will be $25.00. I will ship in a hard case at no extra charge.
