Mauser, K-98, 8mm, 29" bbl, blued finish, rear sight adjustable for elevation, matching numbers on barrel and receiver, wood stock is in good condition, cleaning rod in place, and has a metal butt plate. This rifle has "1920" "WAFFENWER" "OBERSPRE" "1918" on top of the receiver along with "4597" and "Bew.98.". on the left side. These rifles were commonly issued to German soldiers during WWII and it has been reworked at some time in it's history.
