Here's a very unusual single shot pistol. Not maker marked. The only markings that I can see are a "L" on the left side and a "R" on the right side of the frame. The barrel is 7 1/8" long with a dirty bore and shallow rifeling. The frame and barrel are nickel plated and retain over 90% of this finish. The screws through the frame and the trigger appear to have never had a finish applied. The sights appear to be rifle type and are finished in blue which is turning to a patina. The grips are a gold colored plastic which look like a wrinkled fabric. The action works fine with a very stiff trigger pull. I've never seen anything like it.
