Description:
The Browning 1895 Grade I, which was patterned after the original Winchester 1895, was made in 1984, with a total of 6,000 manufactured in 30-06 and 2,000 manufactured in 30/40 Krag. The rifles were fitted with a 24 inch barrel, 4-shot magazine (box type), select walnut stock & forearm, rear buckhorn sight, and were blue finished. This 30-06 chambered rifle retains most all of its original blue finish, with assorted minor handling marks/scratches. The stock and forearm retain all of their original finishes, with a couple of minor handling dings. The bore is bright and the action functions as new. Gun has been fired, but very little from its appearance. These are great looking rifles. Note: This later version on the Winchester 1895 does not have a tang safety.
