The gun is fitted with 28" barrels that are bright, showing no internal damage, and are choked improved cylinder/ modified. Barrels are ribbed with a solid rib and twin ivory beads. The original barrel bluing is at a strong 95% with only wear showing at the chamber end on high points. The gun is fitted with a beautiful factory walnut stock featuring a checkered beaver tail forend and checkered English style buttstock. The LOP is 14 5/8" over the original Iver Johnson buttplate. The buttstock has one shallow dent about a quarter inch in length on the left side of the buttstock, which could be efaced if so desired. The case colors on the frame are strong in protected areas and have faded on the bottom side of the action at the carry point.
