Description:
NSN, .50 CF, 8” barrel with an excellent bright bore. This pistol has about 50% of the original blue on the barrel with some fading to plum-brown in spots and at the breech-end. The frame retains about 60-65% original color case-hardening, with the balance faded to a mild pewter gray patina and having a line of dark brown freckling across the right side. The breechblock and hammer have arsenal bright metal with thin freckling along the edges, and the frame pins retain much of their original straw color. The walnut forend and grip have small handling marks, scratches, and surface bruises throughout with a small rack mark on the left side (“62”), and a visible cartouche at the butt.
