Description:
RARE Model No. 5 Boxlock ejector 12 Bore with a TWO INCH chamber. This is Similar in grade and design to the more common No. 4 Boxlock but with different engraving patterns.
This beautiful piece comes with the original Powell Leather case, William Powell chromed oil bottle, (2) snap caps, allen key, and (1) sketeton key to lock the case.
I also have a letter from Peter Powell at Powell & Son validating the manufactured date of April 25, 1956 and other specifications based on the serial number 15126.
Overall condition is Very Good with some minor scratches and expected wear for it's age. See last photo close-up for more detail.
Also includes 3 cases (750 Rounds total) of new factory ammo. ($600 value)
Ammo is " #7-1/2 shot, 7/8oz, game load " mfg. by Gamebore cartridge company.
Gamebore ammo is stamped in English measurements, English #7= US #7-1/2.
