Description:
Winchester Model 1873 saddle Ring Carbine .44-40wcf. The serial number of this very late saddle Ring Carbine is 6249XX placing date of manufacture in 1909-10. Overall condition is very good with a mix of patina and blue remaining on the untouched factory finish. The bore is near perfect (nickel steel) and will rate a 9 on a 1 to 10 scale. The bore is bright and shiny from breech to muzzle, including strong rifling. The action is tight, smooth and mechanically perfect.
