Remarkable quality D grade built in 1895 on a #2 frame. This gun sports a Parker vent rib. The damascus barrels show a sharp pattern with 80%+ remaining and only minor and even thinning near the receiver. The breach face of the barrels still shows jewelling, and the bores are nice and shiny. The receiver retains scant traces of color in the protected areas, with stronger color under the barrels and forearm. The engraving is still crisp and legible, and the screws show very few signs of tampering. Wood appears original, and shows wear commensurate with age. The butt plate is tarnished and shows light surface rust. This is a grand and honest old Parker that will surely find a proud owner.
