Description:
This is a Winchester Model 71 .45-70 rifle. The rifle has been fit with a new 18 1/2” round barrel and has been converted to a .45-70. A new recoil pad has been added to the gun, but it also comes with it’s original butt plate. The receiver, lever, trigger and hammer have been refinished to match it’s original case color, by Doug Turnbull. The rifle has a pistol grip, but no checkering has been added. Extra holes have been added to the left side of the receiver to allow for a scope to be mounted. This rifle is a great hunting gun and has been restored by Doug Turnbull to its current condition.
