Mod.), Original 2 3/4" chamber, Quality features of a typical pre-war Belgium made guns, Double underlugs with double bite, Bolstered frame, Bushed strikers, Top tang safety, Solid flat rib with 3 folding rear sights, Sling eyes, European cheekpiece, 14 1/2" L.O.P. over a horn buttplate, 7 lbs. 11 oz., Nice wood with decent color and contrast, Steel trigger guard & a horn grip cap, It has 10% coverage of mostly border engraving, The original barrel blue at 95%, The original case colors at 80%, Original oil finish on the stock at 94%, The original checkering at 99%, The shotgun bore is excellent plus with one very minor ding & the rifle bore is also excellent plus, It has a sliver of wood glued back in at the head of the stock just above the front trigger, This is a doggone solid Cape Gun that laid around a whole lot more than it went hunting in the 81 years it has been around.
