The best era for these hand-crafted sidelock O/U was prior to the early 1960s- This fine classic example features 7 pin locks, double triggers, straight grip, ejectors, solid top rib on 28 inch barrels with great dimensions. It has extensive & tasteful full-coverage hand engraving by the early post-war masters who were still working in the seperate "SO" premium shop dedicated to Beretta's high end guns- A true classic in outstanding overall condition, great balance, triggers pulls crisp like only a DT sidelock has- ejectors timed well, checkering and wood finish are excellent- 99% - Briley flush interchangable chokes installed with 5 choke-tubes included. The gun has been very well taken care of (no rust or buggered screws) and woodwork and checkering professionally refreshed not long ago. No swivels. 14 5/8 LOP over thin proper pigskin leather pad (that is as-new), 1 1/2 DAC & 2 1/4 DAH - 7 lbs. 2 oz -SN 8671- 1948 - new leather Beretta gallery case included.
