Alfred Lancaster 12b hammer gun in exc condition. Circa mid 1870's with rebounding hammers. 30" Damascus bbls with 99% finish remaining and recent 850BAR nitro proof. Excellent shiny bores choked Cyl / Mod. LOP - 14 5/8 over leather covered pad. DAC 1 3/4, DAH 2 1/2. 6 lbs 12oz. Included are a set of 20ga BRILEY tubes w/ 4 screw in chokes. Beautifully marbled straight grip wood, still proud to metal with crisp refreshed checkering. Tight and on face. Nearly full coverage of fine scroll engraving showing wear on rec bottom. In a nice canvas and leather trunk case with labels in very good condition. A strikingly beautiful shotgun afield or decorating the gunroom.
