Description:
This .72 caliber original military musket has a tapered round 1-1/8" to 3/4" x 36-3/4" barrel with 1:60 twist and fitted with only a front sight. Stamped on the top of the barrel is Made in Belgium and on the left side the Belgium Proof Marks. The P grade Select Hardwood stock is fitted with iron furniture, including the metal ramrod. The large military flint lock with 257 stamped on the lock plate, is activated by a single trigger. Length of pull is 13-5/8". Please Note: There is a crack running from the top of the stock to the rear lock bolt. The front barrel band retainer spring and rear sling swivel are missing. Good wood to metal fit - made in Belgium. Condition: Fair to good. This items stock number is P-25-22, please use that number when referencing this item.
