- Note: This is a post-war, 1948 manufacture Marlin model 336 in the venerable 30-30 caliber. Bore is bright with strong lands and grooves. There is light blue wear due to handling along edges and at the carry point, otherwise a high percentage of blue remains. The walnut stock and forend shows some light scuffs but no damage. The forend and buttstock have been fitted with quick-detachable sling swivel studs. The gun still measures the factory LOP at 13.5" over the factory Marlin buttplate. The hammer has been fitted with a hammer extension for cocking under a scope should the buyer care to mount one at some point. A beautiful gun!
