Description:
Winchester model 61 with groved reciever made in 61. We just got this gun and we're going to advertise it as a new possible unfired but without a box item. In the meantime, someone who refuses to come forward has bumped the stock and put about 3 small dings in the stock. The largest would be about 1/2 inch. This in itself can be repaired to where no one would ever notice. Prior to this, I was dealing with about 4 small wormholes in the buttplate, no big deal. So-if anyone ever wanted a really really nice 61 for a collection and knows a competent woodsmith this is your chance- nicest 61 I've had without a box.
