#4805 Remington “Double Derringer” (Model 95), Second Model with two-line address, 41RF caliber with rather dark and dirty bores with some light pitting, action cycles correctly, and VG hinges with no cracks or repairs, but some slight sloppiness in the tightness of the hinge. Original finish is wearing to grey metal and there is light scattered age pitting over much of the surface. Two-line Remington address, so probably made in early-mid 1880s and up until the company went to the standard block address in the 1890s. One of the longest production run of any American handgun, these were made from the mid-1860s to the mid-1930s! Good original wood grips, which are correct for all these Remington O/U derringers up to the 3rd Model, with just light to medium wear. About VG overall condition. $745
