Henry falling block in .500-3" BPE.26" barrel with a very fine bore. It is a accurate and hard hitting round with smokeless for Black loads. The barrel has a island rear sight with one standing and one 200 yd. folding. Island blade front sight,. Included is an original spare front sight blade. The Henry rifling is 95% and the exterior is smooth with no pitting or damage. The barrel number is 2473 with a action number of 580 and a rifle serial number of 3175. This is the standard size frame and shows early details: the breech block is milled with a recess for the cartridge rim, 2 screws on the bottom tang plate, Right hand lock with back bolting all of which makes this an unusual and desirable Henry. The rifle locks up solid and the lock works great. It is a nice shooting rifle. We will include a modern made bullet mold that works nicely with this round. The walnut stock is a modern replacement. The workmanship is good and it makes a nice looking rifle on display. It has the original steel butt plate with a trap door.Ebony grip cap. All the metal is border engraved and it has the "Alex.
