This is a pre war/transitional model 70 Win, in 30-06...Serial number indicates 1945, a transitional model, but its and early transitional model and has all the pre war amenities such as the top safety etc..serial no. 60,6xx. This one is fairly rare.
Condition O/A is 85 to 90%,,bore is excellent plus, its an incredibly acccurate rifle in the MOA catagory; bottom metal is worn from carry, checkering is slightly worn, stock is solid and shows little use other than the worn checkering. I call it used but never abused.. A new soft pachmyer pad has been properly added and stock was not cut..barrel has some wear on the outside near the front. action is clean and retains blue; it is drilled and tapped with 3 holes, one in the rear, so indicates factory. Its a really nice clean accurate rifle. Buyer pays $45. shipping and Ins. PRICED TO SELL.
