Webley #2 Antique revolver, Original nickel finish, Ser# 714 ( possibly renumbered in its own Ser# range) Mfg in 1881 Caliber .450 centerfire. Mechanically fine in single and double action.5 shot revolver.Two and one half inch barrel.Early unfluted cyl. Wood grips are in very good condition and are the longer style , between the short and real long , posibly a prototype length. screws are in great condition , the little image on the bottom of the right grip is unknown. The gun was shipped to Army &Navy C.S.L.Marked on the barrel. the information about that is it was sent to a Mr.Gardiner in 1882 . I dont know any more than Mr.Gardiner. The cylinder is numbered to the gun ,the bore is excellent as well as the cylinder chambers. A very nice Webley #2 Bulldog in a great caliber and condition. call with any questions.on page 116/ 117 of the large webley solid frame book. Tom 612 859 5673
