Serial # 21xxx, circa 1898. An excellent H&H hammerless, TL, ejector, rook rifle with 26” full oct barrel retaining 95+% of it’s original bright blue with matted top flat, 3 leaf Express and Beeches front sights. The barrel is engraved with the "Holland & Holland 98 New Bond St London" address as well as "Winner of All the Field Trials and 250 Semi-Smooth Bore". The bore is VG with some light frosting. The receiver with top tang safety, bushed striker, SAFE in gold, is nicely scroll engraved and retains about 70% case colors, vivid in protected areas and silvered with cloudy colors. The full PG wood is excellent with engraved steel cap, BP, cheekpiece and horn forend tip, excellent original flat topped checkering. Included with the rifle are 40 new unfired, unprimed cases from Buffalo Arms. TRADE CONSIDERED
