Russian WWII Tokarev TT33, (Dated 1941) Ser 5XX, Cal. 7.62 X 25.
Go no further if condition and rarity are not your thing.
This a true WWII bring back. There are no import marks and no added safety. Dated 1941, at the height of the Nazi invasion. All numbered parts match. The gun retains at least 85% original finish and some toning of the original high polish blue. The loss is the usual muzzle, sharp edge silvering and gray toning of the grip straps.
There is no rust, pinpricks, scratches or significant rub marks. The discoloration of the slide and the frame is particularly evident. This is due to the factory heat treatment and is clear proof the gun has never been refinished.
As you know these pre 1945 Russian guns are very scarce, and in most instances have been rid hard and put away wet. This one not so.
The condition is downright super. The original black Bakelite Russian Star CCCP grips are perfect. No chips or splits. Many times these have been replaced with a set of unmarked striated wood grips.
The bore, like the rest of the gun is super. Bright with sharp crisp rifling and just a hint of frost. The gun comes with one correct TT33 lanyard ring magazine.
