Description:
Excellent condition, 95% - broomhandle, frame, action and barrel and bore.  Bore with clear, strong riflings.  A beautiful original condition gun without added or modified shine, blueing or enhancement.  Brought "home" by a tribal member warrior serving his country in WWI.  The pistol remained in this family passed down from grandfather to father to son who is now in his 70's.  This German innovation in auto pistol engineering looks today as it came off the front, but without much blemish.  Holster stamped, manufactured in Portland, Oregon included - designed for this C96.
7.63x25mm.  Serial N. 2905xx (very early production).  Waffenfabrick Mauser Oberndorf A. Neckar stamped right side of frame.  All components original with stamped matching Serial N. 5xx.  Wartime Commercial.  Clear NS monogram on back of hammer.  50-1000m tangent sight that operates with the precision and smoothness of an in-the-box firearm. 5.5" barrel.
Action, sights, safety, all components smoothly operable and in excellent working condition.  Ready to fire condition. 
No lanyard loop or stock.
