Description:
This 45-70 Trapdoor - Springfield - Experimental - Saddle Ring rifle has a round tapered 1" to 3/4" x 26-1/4" barrel with a very good bore. The rifle has the original XC rifle sight with a P grade Walnut stock, complete with saddle ring and sling swivels. The trapdoor breech block is dated US Model 1884. There are no markings on the lock plate. Length of pull is 13-1/2". Please Note: The parts are all original and is re-stocked with new wood. Good wood to metal fit - made by Springfield Armory/Custom. Condition: Good. This items stock number is P-98-17, please use this number when referencing this item.
