Description:
This original 12 gauge double muzzleloading shotgun has tapered round 32" Damascus barrels with Platinum blow out plugs and London inscribed on the rib. The bores are good with several light pits. The P grade European Walnut stock with checkered wrist and forend, is mounted with very nicely engraved iron furniture. Tastefully engraved percussion locks have Lewis & Tomes inscribed on the plate. Comes with an original ramrod with a covered wad puller. Length of pull is 14-1/2". Please Note: All the furniture, including the barrels have blued with a high gloss finish by a previous owner. There is a old repaired crack extending from the lower front edge of the right lock down to the front finial of the trigger guard. Good wood to metal fit - made by Lewis & Tomes - London.
