Description:
PARTICULARLY EXCELLENT PRE-WAR K-22 OUTDOORSMAN REVOLVER, MADE DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION YEARS OF 1931-1940, this one with serial number 674XXX appears to be a mid production example, has the special K-22 square blade front sight fitted with the optional flush mounted Call bead, matching numbers (grips fit perfectly and are correct, but are numbered in the 638XXX range- still correct for this model), overall this fine S&W has seen very little use or carry and retains most of the original high polish factory blue with at most a tiny bit of edge wear, nice case color on the hammer and some lighter faded case color on the trigger, exc. mech and bore- the hand tuned actions made by S&W during this time have to be felt to be believed! Only 19,500 made pre-war and this is a superior example.
